Cartoon Hero's Project
Journal Entry: Sun Mar 23, 2008, 8:25 PM
I don't normal use the journal feature but I wanted to have a place to explain my new project.
Cartoon Hero's
I grew up watching cartoon's and reading comics. And to thank them for being a part of my life I've decided to pay homage to as many of these lovable characters as possible. In order to do so I'm not only going to draw them but "I'm" going to be part of the fun as well.
My character (ND) is a extension of myself that I created in my webcomic called Sketchbook (feel free to read it @ sss.comicgen.com). He exists as the Ego, Super Ego and Id (aka Adult, Parent and Child) The Adult is taller version of the Child and has a beard, the Child is short and has no beard and the Parent is tall dresses nice and wears a tie. They all represent the person that I am now.
In no particular order the list of "hero's" is as follows
1. He-Man
2. Transformers
3. G.I. Joe
4. Garfield
5. Calvin and Hobbes
6. Peanuts
7. The Far Side
8. Power Puff Girls
9. Dexters Lab
10. Batman: The Animated Series
11. Johnny Bravo
12. Rug-rats
13. Doug
14. The Angry Beavers
15. Rockos Modern Life
16. Ren and Stimpy
17. The Simpsons
18. Kim Possible
19. Pinky and the Brain
20. Tiny Toon Adventures
21. Animaniacs
22. Freakazoid
23. Earthworm Jim
Of course I may add more later but this should keep me busy for quite a while I think.
Thanks
ND
